• Immersed in Story

    Season 2

    November 6th to December 11th

An online workshop exploring the craft of

    spotting and telling stories

with Shawn Callahan and Johnnie Moore

  • A fresh approach to working with story

Natural storytellers are never taught, they're immersed. Storytelling is fundamental to being human. We're doing it all the time.

Done well, it can have profound benefits to us and the people we work with. Together, we'll grow our talent for noticing, telling and changing stories.

  • Learning by doing

This will be a small coaching group. There will be six weekly sessions of 90 minutes. We'll deepen our appreciation of the stories we tell and the impact on those around us. The emphasis will be on playful experimentation and lots of practice. There will be little theory and zero powerpoint.

This is an opportunity to delve into storytelling in a new way. It's about harnessing the spontaneity of listening to and noticing stories to enrich the narrative skills you already possess.

    Who is this for?

We want to work with people who share our fascination with the power of story, and want to go beyond the standard recipes. If that sounds like you, we'd love to have a chat to explore if there's good fit.

    Timing

There will be six weekly online sessions over Zoom. They will be on Wednesdays starting on November 6th at 08.30 UK time (that's 19.30 Melbourne) and last for 90 minutes. Check time in your timezone. (If you are outside Europe, clock changes at the end of October may change your start time.)

    Commitment and costs

This will be a small group and trust builds over time. We'll learn so much more together if everyone is there for every session.

The cost for the series of six sessions will be GPB £650 / AUD $1250 / EUR €760 / USD $760
